Connect’s Global Expansion: A New Chapter in Empowering Research

Rachel Hartman, PhD

We are excited to announce a new chapter in the growth of our Connect platform. Our journey began with a mission to provide researchers with a seamless, high-quality online research experience, and today, we’re thrilled to take the next step in that journey.

We’ve been to many conferences this year, where we’ve had the opportunity to chat with researchers in various fields, including Social Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Political Science, Consumer Research, Public Health, and more. Over and over, we heard the need for the same high quality data in more countries. Our tech and legal teams have been hard at work to make this a reality, and it’s finally here!

Connect is now extending its reach beyond the United States, welcoming participants from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. This expansion is a testament to Connect’s commitment to growth and evolution, constantly striving to meet the needs of the research community on a global scale.

Here’s how it works:

When setting up a project on Connect, there are now three options for participant targeting: Country of residence, Demographics, and Platform targeting:

By default, your research projects will now be open to participants from all the included countries. However, should you wish to target specific countries, you can do so easily by clicking on “Add Targeting” and selecting the countries you’re interested in:

You can even include quotas, if, e.g., you wanted half of your participants to be in Canada and the other half to be in New Zealand:

These flexible options allow you to simplify your research process while broadening your access to diverse, high-quality respondents.

What’s next for Connect?

Our development doesn’t stop here. In the coming months, be on the lookout for many more new and improved features.

We’d also love to hear from you about how you’d like to see Connect grow. Your feedback is invaluable, shaping the future of Connect. Share your thoughts with us on this expansion and any other ideas that could benefit your research experience.

Together, we’ll continue to refine Connect, ensuring it remains the premier choice for researchers around the world.
