The Challenge
KADRO, a premium insights provider connecting seasoned insights consultants with world-class brands, built its reputation on rigorous data quality. Their approach addressed fraud across two spectrums: respondent quality and response quality.
In practice, this meant relying on 5+ internal tools and dozens of hours per week of manual human review. Their in-house checks (survey speeding flags, logic checks, and open-end reviews) were effective but difficult to scale.
Even with expert review, consistent judgment calls were hard to make on two particularly thorny scenarios:
- Bad respondents with good responses
- Good respondents with lower-quality responses
As the volume and sophistication of fraudulent activity grew, including AI-generated responses that could convincingly impersonate domain experts, the limitations of a manual approach became impossible to ignore. A manual process that once caught clear-cut fraud was no longer sufficient to protect data integrity at scale.
The Solution

Verisoul focuses on respondent integrity, using active device and network checks, probabilistic matching, and email signals to catch location spoofers, fraud rings, and never-before-seen proxies on otherwise clean IPs.
Response Quality: Sentry
Sentry evaluates how respondents are engaging, taking a behavioral approach to identify inattentiveness, yea-saying, and low-quality open-ended responses before a respondent ever enters the survey. Sentry also tracks behavioral events during screening, flagging suspicious activity such as copy-paste behavior, translation services, and applications designed to help fraudsters complete surveys.

The combination maps directly onto KADRO's own two-spectrum framework: one tool for the respondent, one for the response. With Verisoul embedded directly inside Sentry and integrated with one click, KADRO no longer needs to juggle multiple platforms. The result is a single, streamlined fraud stack that addresses both sides of the quality equation simultaneously.
